Beauty - New Mercedes E-Class Coupe Commercial

Features beautiful women riding horses

With the new E-Class coupe scheduled to go on sale early next month, Mercedes is promoting the car with a rather odd commercial that features beautiful women riding horses.

The clip starts with a large group of nicely dressed women riding their horses through the countryside until they eventually enter a small town square where two elderly gentlemen are quietly enjoying a cup of coffee. This odd sight provokes one of men to state "I like car commercials." Although we're not exactly sure what message the company is trying to convey, there's no denying that glamorous women on horseback is a unique way of marketing a new luxury coupe.

Designed to replace the aging CLK, the new E-Class coupe features elegant styling and the latest advances in fuel efficiency. Several new four-cylinder engines will be available including a diesel E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with 150 kW (201 hp) and 500 Nm of torque. On the petrol side, potential owners can choose the 150 kW (201 hp) 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY that has a combined fuel consumption rating of 7.0L/100km or the more powerful E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY which has 215 kW (288 hp) and consumes 8.5L/100km.

We've also included a special "making of" video which shows the work and thought process that went into making this new commercial.
