VW-Porsche Celebrates 914 Anniversary

I guess we'll see this all come back to life in the form of the porsche version of the Blue sport.

There was a pristine orange 914 just like the one in the photo that an elderly retired man owned at the condo that I lived in while I was studying in the States. At that time I was naive and thought that everything in the world could be mine and had no idea that earning money and providing for the family was such a hard thing to do...and I always looked at the 914 with disdain as it was a "mutt." But now that I have to pay taxes, credit card bills, utility, my son's education, my wife's purchases, car lease for the 2 cars in the family...I would appreciate a modern version of the 914! My oh my...how reality of the world bites!
