I hope so, and I hope it spawns a 2 or 2+2 in the vein of the 57SC, would love a modern take on that!

Can VW justify the expense of another loss making new model? Performance evolutions of the Veyron seem more logical. With the Zonda R and 599XX costing Veyron money a trackday version would make sense.

I actually like how this rendering looks. I'd love to see a track Veyron to compete with the Zonda, as Bristol pointed out. Would be cool to see what they can come up with.

Agreed. This car approaches the "imposing" threshold of the RR Phantom better than just about anything else out there. And it does so with that smooth elegant Italian swagg =)

I don't like it, but at least it's more practical then the Veyron.

Simplicity is difficult to render in Bugatti territory. However, the Royale derriere is simplicity (and elegance) itself, reminiscent of pre-war Bugattis. The front end is testament to the Veyron's towering design influence over future Bugattis. The fact that Bugatti and Lamborghini exist in the same VW stable (despite the recession), is proof that exotic brands are the Holy Grail of the global auto industry. That philosophy isn't lost on the Orient: Lexus, Infiniti and Acura.
