Mercedes-Benz S-Class Makeover by Relux

It may not be quite so obvious from these pictures and the video clip but Relux is a German car tuner. The brand is just more popular in places like Dubai than at home. This is their latest product and it is based on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Relux reckons this is quite a unique interpretation of the German luxury sedan.

Major appearance changes are in the new front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights. The rear is more interesting however, with four trapezoidal tailpipes which look slightly off-centre on either side of the large diffuser. Black 20-inch wheels, side skirts, tinted windows and brake lights complete the exterior looks.

Relux also did some work on the interior. Most fittings are made of luxurious black & cream leather. An engine upgrade is also available which includes a custom exhaust system, an ECU upgrade and upgraded turbochargers.

More popular in Dubai than Germany? I can't think why.

How do some of these tuners stay in business?

that front end MIGHT look ok if the caris being used as some sort of law enforcement vehicle. otherwise it just looks daft.

and i don't think they've done a very good job of it. on the interior shot it looks like they've broken part of the ambient lighting system (which i have on mine and i have to say is one of the best features on the car). i think i'll pass on this one

Must be the ugliest thing I've seen in a long time.

Okay, is this one of those operations run out of a shed? The video is barely high school A/V-student worthy. And, my goodness, is that one ugly S-Class.

never understand the existence of so many pointless tuning companies which produce craps... their design is just for the sake of being different from original not to improve the look..

There are some tuners like kleeman and brabus that actually do a good job. I for one like the interiors that brabus does plus the boost in power. Do not knock on every tuning company just because you dont like one. gosh.

interior is ok.............but the exterior is hideous! WTF......even the original is better looking than that........how can you call yourself a tuner if the car looks worst than the original version! hhhmm.....

That is ghastly, why dont they buy an S Class and get a higher spec with the money OR a more expensive car. Now theres an idea

Hahaha, I don't think I've ever seen an uglier rear end. And damn, what a way to ruin a great interior.

These "tuning" cars are a show of what the company is able to do...like a concept car, that is never to be mass produced, but some parts of it will...and this is just so that a customer can walk in the office and say "I want that front end, the side skirts and some of the interior but please dont touch the back"...
