Drivers planning on getting their hands on the Audi A8 will have a few new choices in front of them.  Audi is introducing new equipment packages that can now be ordered by customers choosing an A8.  It is not clear if these packages are available on previously purchased cars.

First up is the Sport Plus Style package, which has the car painted with the new Panther Black crystal effect pigment.  Adaptive LED daytime lights, and dark steel-finish 20-inch S-design cast aluminum wheels are included.  Inside, the driver gets the luxurious feel of Goa Beige colored Valcona leather sport seats, with heating systems built into the front seats.  Black Nappa leather lines the door inserts, lower dashboard, and center console.  This package runs from €2,100 to €9,600, depending on which engine has been picked.

Another option is the Comfort Plus Style package.  The driver who picks this package gets the A8 in pearl effect Night Blue paint, with 12-spole 19-inch forged aluminum wheels.  Silk Beige Valcona leather is used for the seats, while the same colored Nappa leather is used on the console, doors, and dash.  New front massaging seats come with ventilation built in.  The front and rear seats are also heated.  Adaptive daytime LED lights are also included.  Depending on whichever engine sits in the car, this package will cost the customer between €4,200 and €14,500.

Both packages are now available from Audi.

Nothing special about this A8, the interior leaves me feeling cold.

Owning an A8 i'd like to say it has one of the best interiors in the industry. The heated seats, 4 zone climate control most definitely do not leave you feeling cold. The quality of the car is special. From the photo's you can't tell but it really feels nothing like any other Audi.

This must be the nicest interior in its class. This car is very elegant.

I was about to express disappointment that this is not the replacement A8 and go "grrrrr" over the Audi "A-acht" (or "A-Achtung"), when it occurred to me that the car is still looking fresh. This car is an "automotive triumph over understatement"

I'll have mine "shaken not stirred"

Audi's giving this thing a last "hurrah" before it departs. I agree, this A8 has aged rather gracefully, but it's beginning to show it's age. Can't wait to see the next one. I can only imagine.

It is knocking on a bit but aging gracefully. It'll be a tough act to follow.

Compared MB S class, this car's design looks "unfinished" as if it needs a further touch, something missing, but cant tell what it is...I never liked it.

No RS5, I think a lot of people, even car enthusiasts, who aren't that rapt in Audi's often mistake the A4/6/8 for eachother, it's a consequence of their "common brand identity"/"lack of design individuality", depending on your outlook.

i am lack of knowledge for cars like 95% of people... but that's not the point... i am sure i can still distinguish cars like: S and C class, 7 and 5-series, LS and GS, Ranger rover and land rover, 599 and 430, DB9 and V8 and so on ... but for this shxt... i really thought it's A4....

i'm not a fan of big cars , but the A8 is gorgeous. agent Smith had a black A8 in one of the Matrix movies, just shows how cool the car is :)

No... it shows how much Audi is committed to spending a fortune to get product placement in Hollywood movies.

Even though the car is aging, this must be one of the most beautiful cars in the world. It has still an elegant, and sooo beautiful design. Mercedes and BMW should really learn from Audi of how to make beautiful cars.

I also hope that the new A8 will be just as beautiful!!

there are people who can't tell the difference between the A4 ; A6 ; and A8, that is why there are people who can't tell style and quality and 'BLINDED' by the only the merc's mark. compare the interior of the S and the A8. The A8 is 10-years ahead of the S in styling; rgonomics and quality. the interior of the S looks like a 1982 Fiat Croma and the interior of the E looks like 1985 Toyota Corona. Sad, but its the truth. No offense!
