Why isnt this the X3? It looks quite big, and if it were much bigger it'd be pretty close to the X5. If its 'pricing structure/for its type' is anything like the 1 series/3 series here in the U.S. it'll be just as much a dud - folks here tend to spend an extra $600 to get an identically equipped 3 series instead.

Its BMW's entry level SUV/SAV, it will probably be priced lower than the current X3. The X1 is slightly smaller than the current X3, it shares the same platform and wheelbase as the current E90 3-series. The next X3 will probably grow a bit bigger than the current X3 which is based on a stretched E46 3-series platform.
