Fattychrisbmw is saying it because it is a design evaluation category here. And more - Audis are just boring boxes with that abnormal grill with vast amount of technical exuses.

Seems funny though that Audi are showing this when it doesnt really come out untill 2012???

coz i hate the fact that audi just copy and paste the same car front to every model and then say it's a new one... look at this and the 'new' RS5... don't tell me that they are not 80% alike...

if they still coming out with cars with this stupid front grill in 2012... good luck to them... i have started to feel bored 2 years ago... many people will soon feel the same too..

The more i see Audi news and their intended releases - the more i get to see a desparate brand trying to sale hog wash to people. Who cares about a 2007 design show cased as a 2012 design? no one is that stupid to buy into such an aged design. Good luck to your 2015 leadership quest - you will need it.

God people are thick, mostly BMW lovers, not sure why, I guess someone has to buy those Bavarian pieces of s**t.
As stated a million times, this is a mule, not the actual RS3 or next generation A3! It's using the shell of the current S3 Sportback. Simple.
As an Audi driver, an RS3 is pointless, devaluing the brand by offering something too premium for too small a price, just buy an RS4!

fattychris,
if u don´t like the classy, slowly evolving design strategy of audi then stick to ur weird designed bangle bmws, i don´t think that audi will shed a tear as long as people appreciate the brand like they do in the last 10 years.

There is a difference between slowly evolving and lack of design direction. To be honest, I'd err on the side of the latter for Audi, as, for all it is a clichéd saying, they really do all look very, very similar. They're aiming to compete with Mercedes and BMW -- both of whom have exceedingly individual designs for each model -- which highlights Audi's lack of individuality... I don't know, they're just boring to me, and to plenty others, by the look of it.

when u saw c63 or the new E63 or the recent 7-series or z4...i don't think u can deny that they just look great and it's very brilliant design... don't get me wrong.. i like r8 for a short while too but all their other models are just rubbish... u are right.. it's slowly evolving but it does not make it classy.. please look at the S class or 7-series if u want to know what is classy..

I suppose thats why they keep winning World Desigh Car of the year (TT and R8). The new 7 series is a terrible looking car as well, I have seen/sat in one at a motor show. Its boxy, bloated and awkward. And then there is the pig nostril front grille. Now thats a sophisticated way to style a car.

Where did the BMW bashing come from. by wills2007 you'll be so behind by the time they release this 250 KW RS3. By then i bet the smaller cars like the Renault clio sport, Focus, and Mini will be reaching those dizzy heights with their 1.5 to 1.6 ltre engines. No smart company in their right sence releases such kindergaten stats when the actual car is only going to be ready 3 yars down the line - duh. You can release a prototype.

Kalos, we don't all want to drive tiny little hatchbacks or Priuses in some quest to reach environmental equilibrium lol, even in Europe. Who cares about engines, you buy a car for the whole packag,e My 3.0TDi A4 Avant isn't super fast but it's perfect for my requirements, it just works, some people have kids, dogs, holiday homes etc that require cars of substantial size...we don't want Renault Twingo RSs.
