Maserati has released some new video of the Maserati GranTurismo S. The one-minute video shows the car from several different angles with the Manhattan skyline as the backdrop.
The Geneva introduction of the 4.7-liter GranTurismo S Automatic brought about the third model to the GranTurismo lineup. The base model comes with a 405 hp 4.2-liter DOHC V8-engine, mated to an automatic transmission. An upgrade to the S-badged cars gives you the bigger V8 with 433 horsepower and 360 ft-lb of torque, taking the car to a 183 mph top speed. Stepping up to the GranTurismo S Automatic gives the customer a six-speed ZF transmission which works better in the real world than the track-purposed electro-actuated paddle-shift transmission.
GranTurismo S purchasers are also able to upgrade with the MC Sport Line package, that gives a host of improvements. These improvements include aerokit, carbon fiber front and rear spoilers, and black 20-inch wheels.
