Finally a factory riced out corvette, this has been the car that people have been waiting for to come out of GM after their massive bail outs. A corvette with stickers.....

How can you think this is a bad idea? All car companies already do this with rim packages. From an economic stand point, this is a very smart move by gm, even if it is just a paint job.

Stop the press, corvette release new vette with borning decals. Really think this is a good time to waste resources and money on a car the already be replaced with the ZR1 and plus far better cars our there.

The zr1 isn't replacing this car? it's the upper model of it, and last I checked it's really fast. Also, decals are cheap I would be stupified if this cost them anywhere near $1,000,000

Joe who talking about $1000000, and this is exactly why the Auto industry is in near bankruptcy, they have way too many models, take the camera, 4 different packages to choose from, same goes for all the other makes. ok so they came out with a ZR1 so retire the Z06 hell it's the same boring body design with a larger engine and a few small body changes.

I don't think the number of models has anything to do with it, look at Porsche and their 15 variants of the 911. This package is nothing more then a alloy wheels option.

ha ha ha...who's comparing a freaking stupid Corvette with...Porsche?? there is NO substitute. Corvette is just an American car icon, never win the heart outside of the U.S. don't even think its "status" equal to Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche...not even Audi R8, Nissan GT-R...Corvette? ha! what a joke.

Why don't the black ones have yellow headlights? Pretty cool tho...everyone knows that stickers and embroidery add horsepower!! (this from a Vette fan)

hey, scratchy996 & NISMO, what a great idea! i'm sure u 2 r definitely smarter than those top executives @ GM...'coz their best idea is this stupid sticker version corvette to save the company & landslide sales, & those stickers looks like crap.

oh, yes, don't forget the sticker on windshield is a DIY item..."owner installed" option, help those stupid buyer of this stupid corvette bond together...ha ha ha

I get a kick out of you on line know it all personalities. Why don't you take your allowance and go out and actually buy one of these cars and see what they're all about - gee....I guess you don't have any more allowance after buying your last Mario Cart game....

dmanero, learn your facts before you go ranting. The ZR1 actually has a smaller engine that the Z06. It makes more power by using a supercharger. Its also lighter, has better braking, and aerodynamics. And to hata, you're right. The Vette isn't in the same class as a Porsche, its a cut above them. Twice the performance at half the cost. Same as compared to most Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and definitely any Audi.
