Great to see the petrol engined cars competing favourably with the previously advantaged diesels.

YAY, the new Acura ARX-02a and its pilot Scott Dixon , needed just 1:45.278 to cover a full lap, 0.82sec faster than the Audi R15 and 0.184 faster the Peugeot 908 HDi. Finally someone succeed to kick the asses of this diesel abominations.

I like how much people hate diesels. If you took a 200hp diesel with 300ft-lbs of torque and a 200hp gasoline engine with 180ft-lbs of torque, geared them to redline at exactly the same speed, you should end up with relatively the same force at the wheels up until that speed, assuming they both had perfectly flat and level torque curves.
