With a larger dealer network, this may be a thorn for Smart, particularly if Toyota has not neglected doing its safety homework.

Scion needs to ditch their boring car perception. Seriously, Scion cars make Toyota's seem like exotic supercars in comparison.

I'm driving the IQ 1.0, and i'm quicker then some diesels, so no it's not underpowered....

Nice move... the IQ fits much better in Scion's lineup, actually. It would be completely lost in Toyota's american showrooms, sharing the same space with the Corolla, the Camry, the Avalon, the Venza... such boring, vanilla flavored cars. Okay, in Europe it is going to work, but at least the tiny Toyota will share the floor with somewhat appealing cars like the Aygo, the Auris or (okay, that might be a real stretch) the Avensis.
