What's with all the weird flashing LED stuff going on? Both the DRLs and the tail lights appear to be flashing for no reason (i.e. not manual switches or brake pedal activation).

What are you guys talking about???? The "old CL" ... which one would that be? The one introduced in 2007??? Thats old? If anything this is probably a face lift for the current CL (Mercedes-Benz C216) to debut next year or so ... approximately half way of the current models lifetime. If they will change the name to S class coupe will probably happen when the introduce a brand new model some time around 2014. By the way ... even saying that the CL is essentially a two door S class shows how much you care about what you write ... The only thing in common is that its based on the chassis of the W221 S-Class and share the same engine range ...

I'm not a huge Merc fan, but these cars are impressive. They even SOUND heavy and substantial. The white LED DRLs are cool, as are the LED front indicators. The rear LEDs are even more impressive. The arch of the greenhouse appears more robust than that of the current vehicle. Let's see how it translates into production.
