Audi sales boss rules out A1 for the U.S.

You stupid Americans!! Why don't you like this car more? This is the best little hatch I've seen this year. Audi said 'screw it we're goin big now'. First the R8, the A5, TT RS. Frickin gorgeous cars. They should at least bring it here as a Volkswagon. I think it will kill the 1 series and effect the sti and evo sales.

i think it's because Americans are getting used to Audi as a luxury/sport brand and they are not used to the idea that luxury can come in small packages too.

I don't know if this is a good move or a bad move. I think the a1 looks horrendous. But if Toyota, Merc and Beamer can all get away with their ugly super compacts then I guess Audi possibly could make a buck in it as well.

I like this one! I would even consider one if the price is right... but it's true, americans are still in love with their trucks and SUVs, they're not ready for the small car segment.

I would've taken this car. We always get left out from the best that companies have to offer. I dont think we even got the RS6 in the states.

We get left out of these products in US because Premium features and price is always proportional to the size of the vehicle. Stupid mindset. I don't know about the A1 but I was praying for the S3 to come over. Sadly, the same fate. Too small and premium for most Americans.
