Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing Further Details and Prototype Photos Released

The Gullwing will come with a 6.3 liter, naturally aspirated V8 with 571 hp and 650 Nm of torque

i hope they make it right.What i don't understand is the price 140,000 euros, i don't think so. Wouldn't that be a problem for the rest of the mercedes coupe/roadsters.

good question, but i guess they hope for people who would normally buy 911 Turbo, Ferrari F430, Aston Martin DB9 to see this as a MB alternative to those cars.

ok but the SL is in that league with the f430,db9,turbo,m6,and others alike, shouldn't this be a supercar,plus I recall some articles talking about the sl65 black series getting some limitations on it's engine,in order to save up extra power for the next mercedes supercar, and i guess they were talking about this one. Maybe this data isn't totally right. Don't you remember people saying the Audi R8 would cost under 100K.

hmmmmmmm I think I would rather get this then a SL65 Black Series at $300k compared to $180k man I would rather get this than a SL65 thats around $190k wow if its a true sports car dont think so but hoping it will be not just some crazy straight shoot like the SL55 or SLR then its well worth the money :).

0-100kmh in 3.8 s ..that is not that impressive..620 hp would be nice..imo this car is underpowered for a super - super car...but i guess the hp power is over

R u kidding me 3.8 not impressive thats the same time a carrera gt gets n a f430 u telling me thats not impressive a regular sports car is 4.2 to 4.8. So Please save it.

Great, they just released the SL65 Black, and have now made it pointless, at least knowing you can get THIS for half the price.Wouldn't buy one, though- 2 reasons: (1) I cant afford and (2) Looks too much like a R8...

How could something as elegant as a mercades be related to something as barbaric as a viper? This is either going to work out in a great way, or fail horribly. No in betweens.
