i think any company that says its going after the 911 is aiming kinda low its not that great a car in my opinion. and its getting very old.

Seriously...?
The 911 WILL go down in history as one of the most progressive, innovarive and beautiful cars ever.
If you dont respect the 911, you dont appreciate cars.

Agreed joshg_5, I effectively hate the 911 - I'd take any of its competitors over it without a second thought - but you have to respect that it is a superb car.

Do you people even know about Jaguar's platforms? The XF is not on the same platform as the XK and XJ. The XF is on a modified version of the old S-type platform, however with aluminum suspension bits from the XK. The XK and XJ are both all aluminum unibodies, however are not directly related. And if the XE is larger than the XF, then your 911 competition claim is a JOKE.

I agree. This is a thoroughly under-researched story. Please check your facts WCF. Larger than an XF? But a roadster? How big will the overhangs be? Gosh!

Zack does seem to be putting quite a string of under-researched, unofficial rendering masterpieces together.

This Jag will be off the scale in terms of styling and desireability, if it drives aswell as the new XK series, this will be one mind blowing machine!!!
