Happy Birthday to the best and most succesfull racecar in history, i don't know if there will be ever a better racecar then this one(speaking over it's palmares). Porsche, it's time too return too Le Mans!!!

Agreed. Now that Porsche owns VW/Audi, it is time for Porsche to return to LeMans dominance and move either VW or Audi to Formula 1!

I believe it was banned in 1974. The biggest flattery in racing is when regulations are specifically aletered to exclude your car.

This was a hell of a car. More than 400 km/h for the 917/30 .... in the 70s !
