BMW's DesignworksUSA has lent their talent to a number of interesting projects over the years, most noticeably in the form of luxury yachts, but their latest prototype aims to become the ultimate gaming machine. Dubbed the Level 10 Thermaltake Gaming Tower, it features an original design that provides unparalleled style, numerous technological innovations, and outstanding functionality.

In aesthetic terms, the Level 10's interior components are prominently displaced by the prototype's open-case design with each component being protected by its own mini-enclosure. This arrangement is critical to the prototype's overall design but it also allows potential owners to enjoy unrestricted access to the various components for easy interchangeability.

On the technology side, the Level 10 features a robust vertical heatsink for coping with the extreme demands of modern video games and a USB "key" that starts the system and can also be used to "lock" it in order to protect sensitive information.

they should first set their priority striaght: designing their cars better.

i think BMW wants everyone to be distracted from their upcoming X5M.

Porsche has been doing it for how long? And then i hear them buying out WV...Such irony. It says bmw of USA it has nothing to do with car designs cuz that's done in Germany.

it's not BMW of USA. It's DesignworksUSA which BMW bought over to design their cars and now it's branching out to other stuff.

I never got these open case concepts, antec has one too. Like why would i pay 200$ for an open-case like case?? Just leave my crap out in the open, real open must be better than open-like....I think they should have focused on a closed case with controlled airflows instead. Like where would i stick my 3x GTX 295s in that thing???

You're kidding right? The Cayenne is the uglist vehicle ever designed. The Carrera has looked the same forever and drives horrid compared to other cars. BMW is the epitomy of car design and manufacturing. The X6's styling is different, but it's sleek and elegant, and not to mention it's performance figures. By all means, continue to demean BMW's effort, but remember, they're making billions of dollars. How about you? Exactly.

Lets try explain the reason for designing a game consol. They want too get a little bit of the gaming industrys revenue, which is alot of billions. But you are right its ugly and the games would probably cost as much as xbox consol and be as blanned as the manufaturer itself.
