'Brawn GP' burst into track action on Friday, Jenson Button giving the new BGP001 car its shakedown debut at Silverstone.

The Mercedes powered car, coloured mostly white but with striking black and incandescent yellow features, was sporting no sponsor logos except Bridgestone markings, and grooved tyres.

Button was wearing all-white overalls.
