does the market really needs such a car??? is all this financial effort worth it to make a new convertible based on Twingo... how many customers will choose this... I think the money could be better spent (on changing the Laguna for example, which now is a commercial failure)... and BTW, Peugeot 207 CC and Tigra are in a different market class (Tigra being based on Corsa which is bigger that Twingo)! it should be compared to Agila or 107

I agree in the point, that it whould be a bit senceless to create such a small cabrio. Maybe the Clio whould give a better base

Ok this is news to me. I genuinely had no idea of a twingo cc. Should please struggling hairdressers. I agree with "freeway" though, should be based on the clio rather than the twingo.

Twingo CC? Please no! Looking the rear part, really gives an idea how ugly it will be. Like Micra CC, so ugly!

In my opinion, this Twingo CC will definetly compete with the 207CC and Tigra. You have to keep in mind that the Twingo II is based on the Clio 2's chassis so actually, it is also based on the Clio!

Actually, this car makes sence. Compared with the Tigra and 207 CC and other likes, it will be:
- much lighter
- much stiffer
- significantly cheaper
- original
In addition the open air experience would be almost as good as the others since the "roof bar" is behind the head and there is a window that can open behind.
It would also allow to open the top in winter, with all 3 windows closed and the heater at max.
Just add GT and RS packages with few more horses...
