Caractere has debuted its body styling kit for the Volkswagen Scirocco at the Geneva Motor Show. It consists of a front spoiler, a new front grille, a roof spoiler, side vents and door trims as well as a rear spoiler with exhaust.
Although Caractere is known strickly for manufacturing body kits, engine performance mods usually find their way to Caractere dealer in Germany B&B. By way of it's tuning program for the Audi TT, B&B offers five tuning stages for the 2.0-litre TFSI engine. For the first stage the application goes from the standard 147kW (200hp) to about 176kW (239hp) and 340Nm. For that power you pay €998. The following stage 2 which takes power up to 188kW (256hp) and gives out 360Nm of torque is priced at €1,998. Stage 3 costs €5,950 but takes the car over the 200kW mark with 210kW (286hp) and 400Nm of torque.
If all that is still not enough there are two final stages called EVO and EVO R. Stage EVO offers 220kW (299hp) with 420Nm of torque to go with while the last stage EVO R makes peak power of 257kW (349hp) and a whopping 450Nm of torque. The EVO stage is priced at €9,950 and the EVO R takes the price tag all the way to €19,950.
