Get up close and personal with the new Maybach Zeppelin which made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show. A video in which the Zeppelin is shot while stationary in virtually every angle has been released. Every possible area of interest is covered, from the Maybach front grille and 20-inch wheels with a chrome shadow finish to the Zeppelin emblem on a few spots outside and the opulent interior.

Some millionaires and billionaires are much more interested in being driven instead of taking the wheel themselves. These folks are happiest at the back where they can work or play. A real-life person takes the backseat in order to demonstrate some of the car's functions that include champagne glass holders, dual DVD screens and the hyped-up perfume dispenser.

The Maybach Zeppelin comes in two sizes, a Zeppelin 57 (5.7 metres long) and a Zeppelin 62 version (6.2m). Thrust is brought on by a 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine that pushes out 471kW (640hp) and 1,000Nm of maximum torque. The Maybach Zeppelin 57 and 62 respectively cover the 0 - 100km/h velocity in 4.9 and 5.1 seconds.

This perfume dispenser is a really pathetic option in my opinion.. Not to mention that it looks ridiculous.

The earlier Maybach disappears into the mist of history the better for all of us! The only car that should have made Maybach 'relevant' in the 21st Century was the Exelero, an extraordinary hypercar concept which was never made. It could have become Maybach's Holy Grail or 'Halo' car in the same way Veyron is to Bugatti. Opulence without substance is zero. It will never shake off its S-Class roots unless a revolutionary design language emerges from the space clouds of the future.
