Now we get to see it move.
Here's the Audi TT RS in motion and, from a distance, we can see its rear wing which really makes this TT stand out from it's non-RS badged brethren.
The TT RS is powered by a 2.5 liter turbocharged, direct-injection gasoline engine (TFSI) with 340 hp and 450 Nm of windmill-churning torque. The video shows how flexible that souped-up in-line 5-cylinder makes this TT RS on the road.
And the clip also provides a good look at both the Coupe and the Roadster versions and lets us compare the aesthetic worthiness of each while in motion. The Roadster reveals how much Audi has done its own thing with the TT. It's not a low-sitting cat like the competition but it looks like a sports model you'd feel comfortable sitting in. Still, the driving dynamics look good and becoming of the brand.
The TT RS goes on sale in Europe starting this month. Audi has not yet announced a North American release for the TT RS.

Not once in your entire, drawn out, fanboy-riddled statement did you give one reason WHY the TTRS does not come close to the Z4 or SLK derivates in terms of:
"looks, driving dynamics, sports car like handling, brand image, quality, build standards, price, practicality, technological advancements and fun factor"
And really, looks, brand image, practicality, and fun factor are all COMPLETE matters of personal opinion. So half of what you said is not even relevant when trying to compare the TTRS to it's competition in an objective and tangible manner.
I'll give you credit, it was in impressive attempt at discrediting this amazing car, but still just ignorant fanboy drivel.
YouTube provide great quality nowadays, why don't you take advantage of this?
I'm sure everyone that visits this website would appreciate it.
Design wise i fail to see your comparison. Audi RS technology goes way past solely aesthetics. lets say for a second that they do look alike, a car's engineering status goes past the shape of the car, what lies underneath is what makes the machine not the shell. you have to realize for one that a 2.5L engine is not considered a large engine for an automobile. put into the equation an aluminum chassis (or part-off), magnetic suspension, Quattro system, aluminum body panels and 4 POT brakes and different manufacturing processes is whagt makes it better. the Fiat 500 or the Beetle does not have any of these key features. the A1 will be similar in size and class to a Polo but i assure you it will have better features, fit and finish than a polo.
Again, more fanboy drivel from you. Rubbish to mount a huge engine in a shell like this?
LOL. So what do you think of the SLK55 AMG? You used the SLK as an example of a superior car just a few comments above this, and the 55 AMG has a 5.5L V8. The TTRS has a 2.5L inline-5. The Audi's engine is less than high the size yet still makes it to 100k/h faster.
Also, the A1 to polo comparison is completely irrelevant. The TT is now built on its own dedicated platform and no longer shares a base with any audi or volkswagen.
