isnt the sl65 a 911, db9 rival? why would they keep this car in the same class? it would have made more sense to make this an slr replacement. hope it looks and drives good to be a success.

This car has better specs than the SLR (weight, weight distribution, gearbox, fantastic NA engine) and will probably look better than the pimpy SLR has well. Although the SLS name is stupid, it sounds Roadsterish; SLC sounds much better, or why not calling it the "Six Hundred SL"

you guys are right the SLS AND STS are cadillac terms of the late 90's sls = super luxury sedan and sts = super touring sedan I like SLR and leave it at that or just the the Mercdes Gullwing !!
