TechArt has announced plans to introduce a new tuning package for the recently launched Porsche Cayenne Diesel at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Unlike the company's Cayenne Turbo S based Magnum, the tuning package for the diesel Cayenne doesn't offer anything in terms of added horsepower.
Dubbed Aerokit I, the new styling package consists of a variety of TechArt parts which help to give the Cayenne Diesel a more aggressive and sporting appearance. The biggest changes include the addition of a new front spoiler, aerodynamic side sills, a discrete roof spoiler, a new rear apron which features an integrated diffuser, and double oval exhaust pipes. The styling package also features some minor interior touches such as a new sports steering wheel and aluminum pedals.
Wheel choices include either TechArt's 10.0 x 21 ET 57 Formula metal alloy rims with 295/35 R21 Continental tires or body-color 10.0 x 22 ET 55 rims which also feature Continental rubber. Regardless of which wheels customers decide on getting, the lowered sports suspension should ensure that they fill up the wheel-wells quite nicely.

The individual look for a new engine
The individualisation program by TECHART Automobildesign GmbH for the Porsche Cayenne models offers the freedom to emphasise the unique character of these sports cars. With TECHART, distinct individuality is a statement. At the Geneva Auto-Salon 2009, the TECHART based on the Porsche Cayenne Diesel is being presented for the first time.
The TECHART Aerodynamic program for the Porsche Cayenne Diesel
Elegance and sporty dynamics characterise the striking appearance of this compression ignition engine fitted with the TECHART Aerokit I. The agile design of the front spoiler I with integrated headlight unit, the aerodynamic sill panels and aesthetic rear apron with integrated diffuser demonstrate power, speed and perfection. The optimised roof spoiler also offers an impressive performance with its low CW-value.
TECHART Formula alloy wheel rims enable improved wheel arch ventilation and a clear view of the braking system thanks to the long curved spokes. Fine decorative components in lacquer or carbon fibre complete this unique and convincing style. The exceptional material quality and the highest levels of manufacturing precision of all the components underlie the design. The TECHART Aerokit I is made exclusively from high quality polyurethane RIM.
