if u go bck to the late 60s there alweighs have been a e class coupe sedan and wagon and the convertible joined the group in 1992.

so the E class coupe IS based on the E class sedan and not to C class...? Yay! I still would like the have an E class coupe with the sedan's grill, but i digress. the convertible will look just as good im sure.

it's a mix of C and E Class, but it's much more C Class. it's a good business strategy, sell a slightly modified C Class for the price of an E Class and hope the consumers don't notice.
i'm still a little miffed about them dropping the name "CLK". saying "i drive an E500", even if it is the coupe, makes you sound like you're 50 years old

Yeh, but "CLK" never did make much sense to me, E class coupe just seems to "fit". I dunno when they changed it from e class coupe to "clk" i thought it was stupid, just like i did when they changed the name from s class coupe to cl class.
