Last year, Italy's I.DE.A Institute created a special concept roadster in 30 days to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary and now they have announced plans to introduce an updated version at next month's Geneva Motor Show.
The updated ERA concept has an interesting exterior design that mixes wavy surfaces with a bold front-end and a minuscule windscreen. Little else is known about the concept, but it is supposed to feature gull-wing doors and a two-tier trunk. It rides on a tube-frame chassis which can be seen from the car's interior. From the images that were released, it appears that there is no engine in the concept as there doesn't seem to be anything under the hood but nothing is certain as of yet.
The I.DE.A Institute has a long history of designing some pretty bland vehicles, such as the Fiat VSS and Tipo, Nissan's Terrano II and the Daihatsu Move, so it's nice to see them creating something interesting for a change.
