Tuner group HKS have released a video of their HKS/Nissan GT-R GT570 taking a lap on the Fuji Speedway in Japan. The video features an interview (in Japanese) with the driver, just before he gets the car up to a good clip to set off on his rolling start lap.

The video is pretty cool to watch. The camera is suspended from the middle of the car, giving you a perspective as if you were sitting dead center in the back seat. You clearly see the digital rev counter move closer to the red line as the driver speeds out of each corner.

We're pretty sure the GT-R is fitted with the GT570 Racing Package, which can be found for $5,000 to $6,000. The kit makes the GT-R illegal on the streets. It comes with 75mm racing extension pipes, a racing center pipe, polished aluminum intercooler pipe kit, a new EVC, a pressure release computer, the Super SQV Blow-off Valve Kit, reinvorced actuators, and racing spark plugs. A street legal GT570 Sport Package is also available, for roughly $3,000 more. It includes most of what is listed above, plus stainless steel catalyser midpipes. The two cars are said two be similar in terms of performance. With the racing package, the HKS GT-R GT570 clears 570 PS (419 kW), and 540 ft-lb of torque.

In the end, the HKS/Nissan GT-R GT570 managed an impressive rolling-start laptime of 1:54.276.

That's like 6 seconds of the standard 480hp GTR for that track...
