BMW took today to introduce the new BMW X3 Sport Limited Edition. The edition is being released in the sixth year of the crossover's production, and will only be available for the next year.
The special crossover comes with a M package, that includes several cool features. The SAV will ride on 19-inch matte-lacquered M alloy wheels, and comes with M aerodynamic bodywork painted in a select set of colors. The suspension is retuned, and the speed-dependent Servotronic steering system is added on. It also uses adaptive Xenon headlights. The leather steering wheel is matched by the Alcantara and leather sport seats. Other exterior and interior detailing, like the painted aluminum grille and M-piping in the seats, will really stand out on this edition.
Customers get to choose between any of the six engines already offered. If you choose the base level 150 hp petrol engine, you will pay an additional €7,250, while choosing the 286 hp inline-six diesel from the the X3 xDrive35d will run you an extra €7,900.
Since the package appears to be the same for either car, and there are no engine modifications, we're not sure why there is an additional price gap based on engine choice.
The new BMW X3 Sport Limited Edition will launch in Germany this March.
