Chevrolet unveiled footage of their vehicles which will play prominently in the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The footage includes the release of a brand new Corvette concept. A total of five different Chevy models are featured in the 90-second video, as well as Optimus Prime, a truck, and a GMC pick-up. All of the vehicles shown are Autobots.

The Chevrolet Autobots used in the advert include a Corvette Stingray concept (Sideswipe), Chevy Beat (Skids), Chevy Trax (Mudflap), Chevy Volt (Jolt), and a new Chevy Camaro (Bumblebee). Optimus Prime is the Peterbilt 379 full-size truck, while the GMC Topkick seen in a few shots is the character Ironside.

Chevy's press release notes that these characters "will roll through the movie fighting Septicons -- other machines with evil intentions." Surely they meant "Decepticons" and not "Septicons." Fill in your own toilet/sewer joke here.

The new Corvette Stingray concept has been kept quiet for the last couple of years. This new concept is based on the first Stingray racer, unveiled in 1959. It has a split rear window, which many fans will be happy to see again. However, the company has no plans to bring such classic elements back to market. It was spotted at GM's design studio by Transformers director Michael Bay while he was touring the facility.

Other models will see the light of day. The Camaro comes out next month, and the Volt should show up next year. The Spark will debut as a 2012 model year. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen debuts in Russia on 18 June, and Spain the day after. Most major markets, including the U.S. and U.K., will get the film a week later.

The Corvette one is preety awesome, Volt, Camaro and the trucks looks great as well, but the 2 small ones are pretty ridiculous, and hey where's the Mustang? Oh wait, it's not this show ;)

Ah I bet GM wishes it could transform itself out of the dump-hole its in. Fairy-tale wishes...

At 0:31, the camel seems to be running straight for the car- hopefully no accidents happened

The best thing about the Volt is that unfortunately for Acura, it looks like the previous gen TL, which IMO was one of the sexiest sedans on the road, and they've now lost my loyalty because of that piece they now call the TL.

Awesome Corvette. And the volt is nice as well. If they don't feature the hideous little Pontiac that showed up on the last movie, then the car cast is perfect.

hahaha never thought we'd see the chevy beat (also known as the new daewoo matiz) in a film transforming into a robot! the irony of it!

Did u know that the Bumbblebee that appears in the first movie was a Pontiac GTO modified by Saleen to look like the Camaro concept that at the time of filming there was only one concept car and GM did not let the producers to use it
