This looks cool. I want it in the UK. RHD. As a Granada.

I'm sorry, but this isn't cool at all. It's not original, in fact it's a poor interpretation of the Pininfarina's masterpiece Peugeot 406 coupe. Look at the front and compare both models and you'll notice what I mean. Even the side view and the back view is very similar; although the 406 is a coupe and this Taurus is a 4 door saloon, the low roof line, the absence of the central pillar it's almost the same as the 406. I know what I'm saying, because I still own one 1999 406 Coupe, and when I saw this, apart from the front grille and the badge, I thought I was seeing a new Peugeot.

It looks big, heavy, and boring to drive in that video. And No manual tranny? A big let-down... and another reason to buy Japanese/German/Korean.

How many manual transmission AWD full-size Japanese/German/Korean cars are out there now?

Automatic Transmissions are for Sissies. Plus, why would you want a buy such a piece of american crap for that amount of money? Damn! I mean, that's why ford is going down. With that kind of cash, I would definitely buy a German or Japanese car. DUH!

Crap? That might be true for the 1996-2006 Taurus, but the outgoing Taurus the new one is based on has a good reliability rating and its also one of the safest full size cars.

Being that I had a '95 SHO, I am absolutely amazed/stoked for this car! The best part is that there's really no one to compete that I can think of! except maybe the ALTIMA SE-R. Can you? BUT........"Exterior features include a three-bar Ford signature grille." WHAT ARE THEY THINKING!?!?!??!? and yeah, no manual is a MAJOR let-down.

How fast and how well does it corner? I'm NOT a fan of putting lots of power into something that can only go in a straight line (ala Chrysler/Dodge). Also, has anyone seen the fuel rating? 16/24 mpg. V8 power, yes, but at V8 fuels economy. All they saved was on the packaging of the engine bay. Lastly, it's a full sized and I doubt this thing is going to appeal as much as the original SHO which was mid-sized (I had a 1991 SHO and to this day, I think it was the best automotive piece of machinery that I ever owned.) We'll see, 2010 SHO.

Well I must say it looks good. Finally a Ford that has the look but outside of the Mustang I dont see spending that much money on a car that has been crap before. 38K Please I can get an Pontiac GXP for same money and event that would be better with more horse power.

Well, to be honest, I for one wouldn't buy an SHO for fuel economy... I don't care about that. I don't think their target market does either. And yeah, this car is huge, but unfortunately, so is everything else... "mid-size" no longer means MID-size. Long live the 90's SHO!!!

I wonder who is their target consumer for this car because I don't think it would be previous SHO owners being that it is so big now and a lot of people from 25-40 with 2 kids may just want a mid-size sedan like the fusion and may not be able to afford this. Another thing lika vadizzel said you have the Pontiac GXP with more power and sportier in its looks if I went for a full size american sedan that is what i would go with.

The car I learned to drive manual on was an '89 SHO (in my opinion the best of all years). Manual tranny, Yamaha engine with a sweet, sweet sound and a 0-100 time of 6.7 putting it up there with some of the best sport sedans in the era!Quite glad that the "my key" system haden't been invented yet!!!

So this car is going to be faster than the 2010 GT mustang? Thats kind of wierd......

Maybe not faster, but it might be close. I'm guessing 0-60 mph for the SHO might be in the mid to upper 5's.

Most cars with above 330hp can get to 60 in a bit less than 5 sec. The 2010 mustang has 315 and does 60 in 5.2. This thing has awd to help with traction and with ecoboost the torque matches or excedes the hp rating. with 30 hp more this thing can do 60 4.8 sec.

i think this is awesome, actually considering buying used (in a couple of years), maybe with 20k miles, barely broken in, with leftover warranty and twice as cheap!!!!
