Good looking, practical, decent mileage, excellent clean-deisel technology, powerful, handsomely proportioned... A combination that the North American market craves but will not see. I think of other great vehicles in this category (VW Blue Sport and Tiguan TDI, BMW 730d, Cadillac's CTS-based wagon) and I wonder why not? Then I remember how "pay-to-play" works in the Halls of Congress and I remember why.
