No problem doing that..but they should create another name or something...having a sports-car brand associated to trucks gives a really bad image...- read; mercedes-benz - which their cars drivability are commonly mistaken with their trucks.

Since Porshe wants to take over VW and they have a line of large trucks....seems like they would merge eventually.

VW already controls Scania Trucks. The Porsche deal is only for the remaining shares (about 30% all up).
Also, VW sold off their large truck operations to MAN Trucks last month. VW also own 29.9% of MAN.

forget trucks . . . PORSCHE designed Tiger I and Tiger II main battle tanks for the Wehrmacht .
