Seat Exeo Sport Tourer Official 3D Render Video Released - Debut in Geneva

Based on the previous Audi A4 Avant

Seat has released a 3D video rendering of their upcoming Exeo Sport Tourer ahead of the wagon's official debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Like the Exeo sedan, the Sport Tourer is based off the previous generation Audi A4 which rides on the B7 platform. Clearly showing an Audi like side profile, the new Seat features the brand's traditional front end with a large grille and attractive headlights. In the rear the styling transplant is even more subtle as it appears the only difference is a slightly redesigned rear hatch, new taillights, and a new bumper.

The interior is all Audi, which despite looking a bit dated is a good thing because the previous generation A4 was known for its high quality and use of premium materials.

Engine options should mirror that those offered in the sedan, which means we can expect a variety of power plants to provide motivation for the new model. Petrol versions should offer outputs ranging from 102hp (75kW) to 200hp (147 kW) while diesel versions should have between 120hp (88kW) and 170hp (123kW).

Look for official details and pricing to be announced when the model debuts in early March.

Pretty uninspiring to be honest. Too Teutonic, they could have done better by added a lot more Spanish flair, which they otherwise do when "badge engineering" VW group models

It's a B7 Avant. Nice but nothing special.

It's Auto Replay, not Auto Emoción. It screems Audi, but it doesn't improve the old A4 styling at all. The new Seat style is just bland IMO. Seat was a cheap brand and it still looks that way, no matter how hard VW wants it to be their Alfa Romeo.

So Exeo means that the supposed "low-cost" brand of VW group will be Seat and not Skoda? Because, despite its not very much beautifull body, Superb is a good quality product! And producing an old model - like the A4 - with a new badge is the same that Renault have donne with Dacia - Renault Clio. Who can understand this Germans...

It's a Realy big Seat IBIZA !! If its a relativly low priced car based on a good car platform, sounds good to me. I could think about it realy seriously.

I like this car. SEAT didnt start as well as Skoda. They didnt sell so much like Skoda has done... And now SEAT has to do Rescue-Work before they can start developing own big models.... So the chance to develop the Exeo with the base of the B7 is a low-cost opportunity... I think, SEAT will sell a lot of this cars, an after that, they will develop their own EXEO soon.... But now, they first have to earn money with a important sedan or estate...

As an Audi driver, it doesn't bother me that they've used an A4 Avant but as it's based on the old A4 isn't such a big deal considering we've had the all-new A4 for a year so it doesn't really affect Audi's reputation. If you can get over the badge and the fact you're driving a "poor man's Audi" then I'm sure it's a good car. If you asked me though, I'd rather save even more money and buy an 2007 or 2006 A4 Avant.
