Audi has released a making-of video as a teaser for their upcoming Super Bowl commercial. The commercial, called "Chase", features Transporter star Jason Statham outmaneuvering different vehicles in different decades.
Statham is behind the wheel of a new supercharged Audi A6 sedan in the spot. The ad uses music, fashion, and the cars made famous in the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. By present day, the A6 shows its real worth as the current car of its generation. As its inspiration, the video borrows elements of from various films and television shows.
"We've clearly positioned the competitive brands as having their day," says Audi of America CMO Scott Keogh. "Today, and in the future, it's Audi's time. And that's where we really want to be."
Statham is no stranger to the Audi line of cars. He has driven one to its limits in each of the three Transporter films. Well... at least a stunt driver has.
The Super Bowl is not a new host for Audi spots. During last year's championship American Football match, their successful parody of The Godfather revealed the Audi R8 for the first time. This year, the Audi is again paying a pretty penny to show off their car.
Just to show the 60-second spot, Audi is paying about $6 million. "Chase" airs on February 1, during Super Bowl XLIII on NBC.

If I want luxury, I would go Lexus, if I want something thats more 'sporty' and fun I would go for a Beemer. Audi does neither lol.
Oh yeh forgot to say, since Audi are mocking the drivers of the other cars, well Audi's are driven by cocks, hahaha.
Would easily take the Beemer out of all them
