Interesting to notice Volvo has given it a pretty high price point in the American market... in Brazil, where the XC60 T6 has just arrived, it has made some big news exactly for its surprisingly low price, starting at something around R$130,000 (or US$65,000), which is lower than a base model Land Rover Freelander, a Ford Edge or even a frugal Toyota RAV4! That means, actually, US$40,000 less than its self proclaimed competition, such as the Q5 or the GLK... and nearly HALF the price of a base model XC90!
Still, we don't know how Volvo Brazil has managed to bring a 280hp crossover for the same price of a four-banger S40, but its sure an impressive and unusual move from a premium brand.

Do these still have problems with the tyres wearing out too quickly?

I like it, it is just a shame that it is this small though, becuase it is too small for us to have as a family car

BEAUTIFUL! but ummm the MSRP is higher than the XC90?!?! it come pretty loaded though so that kinda justifying the price tag but how about for those who wants it just a basic car with a nice bod and the volvo name? I think the size is right for a family of 3-4 I dont know why they insist on driving Tahoes and Armadas. who need all that room??? most of the time it's the soccer mom driving around by herself to the mall after droppin the brats off at practice anyways lol
