While I'm sorry people lost their jobs, I'm glad this ego machine is gone!

i hope the ones that lost their jobs include the ones who signed the papers to produce civilian versions. wasn't this just a chevy tahoe underneath? I can't wait for that to disappear either. They need to start scrapping their gas-guzzler engines if they're to save their company. I just don't understand how they achieve such pathetic power output from their engines. Seriously, under 300Kw from a 6.2L? It must've taken them MORE work to UNDERengineer that engine

Yes it is just a fat Tahoe...... Actually, most of the big SUVs that the GM brands make are just fat tahoes or suburbans, but with different names and slightly different bodies.....

They're made to generate tq, not high horsepower. Look at the tq numbers on all the big OHV v8's. You'll notice they make s*** loads of it at low rpms. It takes a lot to move those pigs!

Nobody wants that big pile of weight and gas guzzling machine. It's not good for the enviroment, it's not good for peoples's pockets... and it's not even good for the employees who make them! I hope u people find good jobs soon!

Again, I feel truly bad for the folks that are losing their jobs. I can relate because I lost my job (in architecture) back in August 2008. However, I am so glad this needless vehicle is coming to a production stop. My only question is, what took them sooo frickin long??? I so hope this isn't a temporary stop. These things need to be outlawed except for actual military use!!!

This truck was bad only because it got the WORST economy of the Tahoe line but if any of you actually ridden in a Tahoe you realise there is no substitute for such a great big truck. Its like a small living room in there with no end of space. Only GM offers this. I have enough heat in my pants so its nothing to due with a lack thereof, its just a great truck(Tahoe). It sucks that the fuel economy is soo horrible though the Hybrid versions are pretty good given they work in the city, and thats where gas versions lose the most fuel there. They should think about bringing a Diesel into the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon line though the way the business is, they will have to cut out 2 of those 3 models. Diesel until a better "green" 100% substitute fuel source is ready.
