i totally agree with you. I mean they can keep some design the same because it is Porsche tradition but they need to start making bigger changes

So it is 997? No wait it's the new one... It doesn't look, it doesn't sound good, and standard 911 is not really fast. Please Porsche, leave 911 and build something exciting, you really can do it - Carrera GT.

I can actually see the subtle differences, and I like it...looks more aggressive.
And why should they change their whole mentality? Each new Turbo that comes out is better than the last one, which was probably the best all-round daily driver. U can drive it to work, when it rains, when it snows...awesome car, hopefully one day, i will be a proud owner!

Exactly , why change it if the design still works , Porsche are very clever people , just look at the hedge funds.

What makes you so sure this is the 998? I suspect it's the 911 Turbo 997.2 undergoing winter testing before introduction in late summer of this year. The Turbo currently on sale is based on the 997.1 design.

This is a 998.
If you compare it to the 997, you will notice the prototypes have a longer wheelbase (compare the space between the doors and the rear wheel arch), it also uses doorskin mounted side mirrors unlike any 997 models.

The front will definitely look like a Boxster/Cayman with round headlights

*shrugs* you can buy a used Porsche for $30,000 that 99.5% of the public can't tell which Porsche is more expensive/faster/rarer. Why buy the car then?
