Citroen is officially releasing a new seven-seat version of their MPV. The Citroen Berlingo Multispace seven-seater is already available as an option for the U.K. market.
The "Family Pack" option can be purchased when the customer chooses either a petrol or diesel powered Multispace VTR. If you do want the seven seats, then you have to take either the 1.5i 110 hp engine, or the very underwhelming 1.6 HDi 90 hp model. The latter gets a weak 14.9 second 0-60mph time.
Then again, nobody is buying the Berlingo Multispace for its power. Your buying it for the removable and foldable seating that gives you a boot of about 3,000 liters in space. Even when the seats are folded down, but still in the compartment, you have 650 liters of space. As a people mover, it also works with the safety net of extra airbags. There is even a 12-volt socket to power your toys.
The Family Pack option for the Citroen Berlingo Multispace is now available for £800.

FIT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: CITROËN INTRODUCES THE SEVEN-SEAT BERLINGO MULTISPACE
The UK's most popular value MPV has just got even more practical and versatile with the addition of a new seven-seat option to the family-friendly Citroën Berlingo Multispace range.
Priced at just £800, the new ‘Family Pack' option is available on VTR models fitted with the 1.6i 110hp and 1.6HDi 90hp engines. The package offers 3 individual, foldable and removable middle row seats and two additional back row seats, completing its seven seat capacity. And unlike its rivals the seven-seat Multispace features lateral airbags for the protection of rear passengers as well as a luggage cover, for when the boot is in use, and a handy 12V socket are also included.
With a total of five, completely independent, removable rear seats, the Berlingo Multispace becomes even more adaptable than ever, allowing users to customise their cabin as they like. The Multispace still offers a vast array of storage compartments, retaining a 100-litre boot space with all seven seats in situ, which can be expanded to 470-litres with the two rearmost seats folded down, and a whopping 650-litres with all five rear seats folded.
