These pictures of a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG finished in chrome were found posted on a web forum. They were apparently taken in Dubai. Although the C63 AMG comes in a range of 10 colours, 7 of which are metallic, none of them is chrome.

Mercedes revealed the C63 AMG in July 2007 and launched it in September that same year. Based on the W204 platform, the car is the flagship model in the C-Class range. It's powered through the rear wheels by a normally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 engine that produces 451hp (336kW) and torque of 443 lb-ft (600Nm). The official 0 - 100km/h time is 4.5 seconds.

Again another example of a guy with way too much money and doesn't know how to spend it wisely and while other in "his" country could probably profit better with a fraction of what he must have spent to destroy the image of such a car. Guess we all know who are the real thieves in the auto industry.

I don't get this at all. It doesn't even look like real chrome.. nowhere near the reflective qualities. What's the point? I swear they do the most retarded things in that country

you don't know about it, this is not a chrome paint, this car was wrapped by a special foil. instead of painting to change your car color you can foil it with any color you like, even matt colors and carbon fibers are available.

this is not the original paint color, they wrapped it by a special foil and no body will know that it's a foil.

i saw this car b4, in a high way in dubai.its not painted,its a foil.this kind of foiling costs around 30,000 $

Dude. it costed him 25,000DHM which is 6,800$US. still it's not so unique to appear in WCF. Most people doing matts , chrome , gold here in UAE.

Doing so in my opinion is childish.

Its in Dubai in front of the Kempinski Hotel, where u see lambos and ferrari non stop, but its Abu Dhabi plate number, and Abu Dhabi is where u see crazier cars than Dubai

whoever put that door back on needs a slap because the shut line is terrible and i would imagine that the rest of the car's shut lines are probably equally bad
