True. And it can't be _that_ hard or costly... there are plenty of small AWD cars available from Suzuki et al in the Asian markets. It would also have been a more unique car with AWD, not just one of the 08-15 hot hatches.

you know, if this was a bmw or an audi or a merc people would be jumping up and down saying it's either brilliant or crap, that racing pedigree favours this manufacturer but this manufacturer makes better handling road cars... but it's a ford, and therefore i reckon most of us will just be able to agree that it'll be a good little car for what it is.

The Ford Focus RS is devolped by german engineers and will be produced by german workers. Why should it not be on a par with BMW 135i and Audi S3?

Why is now everyone using air intakes under the headlights? Is it because Audi came up with the idea? At least in the R8 they're functional, not like in this one. Great car, but it should have been AWD

The things is that this Ford cost around 30Keuros full equiped. 10-12Keuros less than a AWD STI or EVO.

This hatch is awesome...I want to hear its exhaust note! I can imagine it sounding like a rally car when you blip the throttle. Add a nice blow-off valve and you're ready to go! But like others have said...I wish it was AWD also. They could've used the AWD technology used in Volvo's!
