that's a good way to kill yourself... putting more power in a heavy car which has the suspension/chassis electronic control systems set up EXACTLY for the stock amount of power. double the power without touching the suspension/chassis backup in a car which is so specifically set is really NOT a good idea.

yeah lucifa you are right but if you have $ to do this and buy the GTR alone most likely you will have $ to upgrade the suspension as well.

Considering that people have ruined the $15,000 transmission using launch control on stock HP vehicles, what will this kind of HP do to the tranny? Does anyone have a "built" transmission for this thing yet?

I like how you think a awd 820hp car is dangerous, especially compared to the numbers some modified benzes out down, and they are rwd...

Cool, this might take the "fastest lead brick in the world award!" On a more serious note, the price tag for the modification seems reasonable!

I thought southside would have a GT-R to show just like the other GT-R tuners? will be very interesting to see if the transmission will agree on that amount of horsepower?

In you face AMG, horsepower war is not over :D But to be a bit serious here, I also don?t think that its such a great idea to put this amount of power into this car, and it probably kills the transmission after a week..

I'm so angry that is less expensive than a TT kit for my Z...that's just wrong!

Along with suspension upgrades, better get some carbon ceramic binders to stop the damn thing! LOL!

no problem with the power. but does the tranny supports all that power, and the suspension? any modifications on these? if i owned a gtr, i woudlnt be so sure about this upgrade. and another thing, isnt it too much for the exhaust too? like always, americans think of everything when they put 1milion HP into a machine.

Massive fail, no way this kit is going to last, even if lets say the transmission can take this power, those turbos look ghetto grade. HKS has compressors at 3200$ each, nevermind a kit. If i had a 95,000$ car i would look somewhere else other than some yok'l that put a CAT turbo on a GT-R and called it a kit, all this proves is that it can do a few dino runs with it, no long term proof.

Don't ya hate new products with no long term proof!??! I kid, I kid...Seriously though, my only issue with this is that the VQ motors have been notoriously difficult to tune since their release. I admittedly don't really know all the details as to why, but I'm sure there's reasons and it does make me wonder what all was over looked. The tranny is an obvious concern, and others have mentioned exhaust system and suspension upgrades. I would add to that along the lines of what you're saying in regards to this appearing to be simply new turbos and nothing else, that there's no mention of intake modification, stronger injectors, or anything done to the internals. It just all sounds like a great recipe for a grenade.

The owner of southside actually does have a GTR of his own and a car that he done for a customer in California,as jagonzales said if you have the money to throw down on a GTR you have the money to do the car right. All of you must be thinkin... how does this guy know all of this? I know cause I am related to the owner and founder Kris Gagnon. They have some of the best machanics and machinests.

Save your money boys, this guy is a joke. This place is going under and the repo guy is more than likely looking for the GT-R. I see the legendary "Lambo" is already sitting at the repo shop. I heard they even repo'd the sign in front of the building. lol. Wow how many times can one guy go under, I think this is the forth or fifth business now. Well hang in there Kris every crook, I mean dog has his day.
