WOW, Ford is charging full price for this. Now that it is priced like its competition they can't get away with "for the money". This better be a d*** good vehicle to compete with Cadillac, Mercedes, BMW, Acura... While I don't care for the appearance, styling is subjective and not considerably important in this price range.

the interior is nice and simple, but the exterior is really ugly specialy that ugly grill, i'll prefer MKS over this one, but still the Navigator is my favourit Lincoln.

Jeepers, it's ugly. And bumpers? What about bumpers? You just *KNOW* the 5' 8" 60-year-old who buys this over-priced station wagon is going to back into something (or pull forward into something) at a speed of 3 mph. Without bumpers, you can count on having to replace the entire rear tailgate or the entire front facia - neither of which will be an inexpensive fix. I predict malaise - and ultimatly dismal sales.

This was on my short list of next family vehicles. It lost a lot of appeal to me in translation from concept to production model. The grill seemed to get much larger and the overall design less elegant. This coupled with the $45,000 base price makes it a non-contender for me.

Haven't seen a ugly crossover yet, and this one either. Always love them.

Is minimal sales really worth it for Ford?... I see no point in this. Another wrong management move, I thought the bailout had some strings attached.. there goes another 20 billion.

Ford didn't get bailout money. Will agreee that this car is spectacularly hideous though. On spec it seems like a decent car, but that grill! To design something so wrong must take more effort than to design something inoffensive. If I was Mulally I'd march straight into the Lincoln design cell, and sack them all. Someone who can produce that and think its good, doesn't belong in automotive design.

Just wait 6 months and you will be able to buy this for about $37k-$38k. The Domestic brands always whore 'em out even if they are brand new designs.

I can actually see a little bit of 2005 Fiat Croma in this. Not a good thing.
