Massa does first laps in new F60
Felipe Massa on Monday took the wheel for the first track outing of Ferrari's 2009 F1 car.
At a very cold Mugello circuit near Florence, the F60 rolled out of the pitlane shortly after 10.30 for an installation lap, before a second out-lap was completed about twenty minutes later.
The car features a Magneti-Marelli developed KERS system, which is expected to be tested on a Ferrari single seater for the first time later on Monday.
The Maranello based team has not decided if the energy-recovery technology will be used at the Australian grand prix in March.
"I am excited but happy to be testing the car for the first time," Brazilian Massa told La Gazzetta dello Sport prior to the debut.

Going to be a lot of lost nose cones this season. Could be bad as drivers won't want to make risky manuvours.

Probably one of the ugliest Ferrari F1 cars in the last few years, but who cares , F1 it's not about looks.

I think it looks kind of interesting in a nostalgic way.
Takes my back to the 90's. So simple. I like the body a lot.
but the wings look horrendous front and back.

Bring back 70s or 80s f1, huge wings, 1000bhp and more danger than you can shake a carbon fibre nose cone at

It'll be interesting to see how other teams design their cars to abide by the new aero regulations. Thats why the F60 is so much different aesthetically from previous F1 ferrari's. But as has been said, looks mean nothing in F1.

I would put bigger wheels on the rear, and take it down a drag strip. To see what times it can post on 1/4 mile streach.

Horrible & disgusting!
These new F1 vehicles follow the motto of "form follows function". If you take the visual drama away, it's just a boring engineering showcase...

In 2010, drivers will have to drive with one arm behind their backs, while reciting the alphabet bacwards.

Who cares what the car looks like? This is racing
I say further reduce driver-aids... bring back manual transmissions... let the best drivers win races not the ones in the highest-tech car

sure does look alot different than the ones from the last few years, with the new rules though the raceing should be more competitive.
