OMG ... I'm practically speechless ... this takes UGLY to a whole new level ... it's a perfect example of why the US auto industry is on it's knees ... way way too large and completely lacking in styling integrity.

What an unfortunate design... No finesse, no class, no elegance... Just one big, bloated, over the top, dated design. Maybe a few tacky small town empty nesters will like it, right? This thing will definitely make them look fancy while stopping by at the local McD's. Shame on you, Ford... shame on you.

Well, the outside might not be great, but at least finally Lincoln designed a decent looking interior that has a quality appearance to it. It looks like they finally stopped doing the cost cutting on the interior. Amen!

It's a shame the external design is so unfortunate because the interior is pretty nice.

It's very classy inside and out. Much more coherent than the R-class...and should age well. Again...Ford did it with that ecoboost engine. If this thing doesn't succeed, it will speak badly of the consumer public, not the vehicle and effort behind it.

I really liked the concept. The production version doesn't appeal nearly as much to me, however. Usually production models are toned down from the concept. The MKT seems the exact opposite. The elegance of the concept is ruined by a grill on the production model that seems way too big. Other changes are small but somehow detract from what was shown last year.
