Maserati used the North American International Auto Show in Detroit to debut their new Quattroporte Sport GT S which aims to offer the ultimate driving experience.

Power comes from the same 430hp 4.7-liter V8 engine as in the Quattroporte S but engineers fine turned the engine's mapping system to produce 439hp (323kW). The company also went to work adjusting the transmission's gearshift management software in order to provide a more enjoyable driving experience. Additionally Maserati included an upgraded suspension that is equipped with single-rate dampers, stiffer springs and a lower ride height. Finally the company added a sports exhaust that is controlled by pneumatic valves, this helps to create a deep and throaty exhaust note.

Exterior differences are limited but include a new black grille with vertical fins, a Trident logo wearing red accents, new headlights with a metallic titanium finish, and "shadow line" trim. The interior gets also gets a modest makeover and includes minor touches such as Titantex trim and new seats in Alcantara and leather.

great grand tourer, but still not enough powerful to call it supercar with proper performance figures. Just luxury, good looking and fast sports car.

Great historic aesthetics. Like old furniture we love and reproduce it as long as love takes.

The car is still the same, still a squinty catfish face. I do like the models though, they are new and exciting wish i could say the same for the car.
