it surely is not the prettiest car but finaly the slr gets it?s destination - being a supercar and not a very fast merc with mavigation system, heated seats and everything else I would?nt wanna have in a supercar

wow, is that supposed to be a luxury interior? No thanks I'll pass that up anyday for fake plastic and durable cloth.

oh god, look at the details of it all, the massive gap between pieces on the steering wheel, the exposed screws on the dashboard, a million bucks doesn't get you much these days.

Its gorgeous, no idea what you guys are talking about. It looks like a pure old school race car. The materials in the cockpit are very good, plenty of high quality carbon fibre, and quality leather. Great performance, great looks and with the way it looks, owners will know its a special edition that stands above the regular SLR.

It's pretty striking and certainly now feels less like an overpriced SL.

Never mind bird droppings, bugs in the air and the automated car washes.

It is obvious that most of you miss the point of what this car is supposed to be!! It is not supposed to be practical!! It's not meant to be driven everywhere everyday! It is supposed to be a modern version of a CLASSIC Mercedes opentop race car. It is a SPECIAL COLLECTORS EDITION for gods sake that's why it costs a million bucks!! And to the fool that mentioned Bugatti wtf?

It's real shame this car hasn't gotten a better response. This is a fairly hardcore reworking of the SLR.
