New spy shots of the the Peugeot 3008 have surfaced, showing the Nissan Qashqai competitor completely undisguised. Picked up along the eastern part of France, the photographer got clear shots inside and out.
The crossover looks similar in many ways to the bigger 4007, but with more smoothness and fluid lines. Headlights are slanted, and somewhat reminiscent of the 308 RC Z coupe. The off-roader will share engines with the MINI, including the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder model. A 2.0-liter HDi diesel is also expected. It is also believed the car will come standard as a front-wheel-drive, with 4WD also available.
The Peugeot 3008 should arrive in dealerships next year.

"The Peugeot 3008 should arrive in dealerships next year." - You mean this year? =)) Personally this Peugeot reminds me a teddy bear, if you look from the front part. :)
interior appears quite upscale compared to the rather boring 4007's dash 'made in mitsubishi'
Okay, it's a crossover, but clearly more on the minivan side of the concept. The result is just okay, since the main body lines are interesting, but the front and rear ends have got some overdesigned (is there such a word?) bits... I mean, it seems like the design team has tried TOO hard to make it different, and it's just... well, not pretty by any chance.
