For a £20,995 base price, U.K. customers can now purchase the Renault Laguna Coupé with a highly efficient, 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine. Many more options are available to those willing to sacrifice the 47 mpg fuel economy for more than the standard 148 bhp.
There are several engine choices in the lineup, including the 2.0 petrol turbo and a 2.0 turbo diesel. Laguna Coupé GT purchasers can choose between a more powerful version of the engines on the Coupé, a 3.5-liter V6 petrol, or a 3.5-liter V6 turbodiesel. Horsepower ranges from 148 to 237 bhp.
The Renault Laguna Coupé is capable of getting up to 47.1 mpg with the 2.0-liter turbodiesel. Efficiency drops significantly with the 3.5-liter petrol, which gets a scant 28.2 mpg.
In addition to the Coupé, customers who opt for the Coupé GT, will get 4Control four-wheel steering, and several luxury options. Amongst these are leather seats, leather steering wheel, cruise control, heated and powered folding side-view mirrors, and an automatic parking brake.
The Coupé is not without its own set of conveniences. It too comes with a variety of features, including 18-inch alloys, a 140W stereo, MP3 player jacks, climate control, eight airbags, twin chrome exhaust pipes, and xenon lamps.
Retail price of the Laguna, depending on engine choice and trim level, reaches upwards of £27,995. The Renault Laguna Coupé is now available at dealerships across the U.K.
