Hyundai made an impressive step up with this Genesis coupe, the design is beautiful, the interior is nice but i don't know why the interior loofs cheap! look at the AC windows?
But what i mostly like in this car is the 3.8 V6 engine. BTW any information about the price?

While i love the engineering behind the Genesis coupe, its so blatantly obvious they paid for the "good stuff" by skipping on the interior. It's really awful, and they did themselves a disservice. Maybe when the mid-cycle updates come they will indulge the interior, hopefully...

Not a bad looking car but I am still having a hard time getting used to the dip in the rear side windows. I wonder about the driving dynamics???

I like this car, but does the front remind anyone else of a Ninja Turtle?

I wanted to ask this for a long time. On what basis is Hyundai "not as good". I admit, the interior quality could be better, but has anyone ever really driven this thing in US spec, not to mention see in in person?

I have to agree with GRAVE and benz_man...
I never really bothered to look at the interior until just now and it does look really nasty.
The ventilation slats look like they belong in a Sonata not a sports coupe.
There are already many of these Genesis Coupes driven around Seoul and they look really nice from the outside.
The dip in the rear window really doesn't get noticed when it is in motion...and there are body kits and turbo upgrades being made for the 2.0 liter turbo that should really make this car worth considering if you want an inexpensive RWD sports coupe.

this car fails along with the brand. Every time i see a Haundai i say EWW....I mean even debadging the genesis would make it look better from the outside.

The 2.0 is starting out around 23,400 and the 3.8 is starting at 29,900. i told them they shouldn't start the 3.8 around Nissan's 370z, they should go less, but they didn't want to listen.

I like it. However the pricing will not work especially if they are competing with the ford mustang which right now is 18k employee pricing with a v6 for 210 horses and 23k for a 300hp v8 model. They have to lower the prices because public perception is a tough thing to change and the prices will not help.
