tempted to point out that 40% diesels shows the difference between merc and bmw, but a) i don't know how many diesels bmw has sold and b) the current e class is actually a brilliant car, even if i prefer the bmw 5. =)

The E63 suffers horribly from bland Merc styling. If given the choice between a fully loaded E63 and an M5 with no options, I would hands down choose the M5.

I'm a die-hard Benz fan. But I'd take the stripper M5 over the loaded E63 everyday too. lol Not because of looks, but based purely on the driving experience.

BMW-Mercedes

The Mercedes E-Class is getting on in years. This car's driver is ment to be refined! It is not always about Speed. The E-Class is a car for the elegant type of fSeries makes one's mouth water. I rank BMW first, then Mercedes and Audi last. May the E thrive!
